What's a good skeleton automatic watch for under $200?

I’ve been looking at Sea-Gull watches and I’ve heard good things about them, plus they’re only about $150 on amazon. However I’m open to any suggestion, new or used, anyone has!

Not exactly skeleton watches but similar open-face automatics, I have an Android watch with an unusual double escapement movement, an open-heart Orient dress watch, and a Lucien Piccard tourbillon, all under $200 and with exhibition case backs. I’d recommend any of them as long as you know what you’re getting at that price point but the Orient is by far the best and most reliable movement.

I have a Relic that I got on sale for about $90.

Looks good, but gains a minute a day.

Check out Bulova. There are quite a few nice watches in that range.

I have this one, but it was a bit more expensive when I got it a few years ago:

It might not be an interesting boutique brand, but Bulovas are still solid watches for the money. I’ve got a rose gold one I picked up cheap years ago, and it gets more compliments than ones I have that were twice the price or more. Skeleton back and a window in the dial, I think they still make it too, and it was probably right around the $200 point, maybe less.

Having worked on watches all through college, the rule of thumb is that you shouldn't buy an auto for under $500-600 dollars. You're basically getting Timex quality for anything under that.

You can get that same movement assembly in a Keneth Cole watch. Mine’s been ticking away flawlessly for years. They only watch I wear now, as my others all need batteries... And yes it’s a cheap watch, but I destroy them regularly

I have this:

Kinja'd!!!

Its an Invicta 1959 Russian Diver Skeleton. Its mechanical though, so you have to wind it. Just dont drop it while winding like I did last summer, Its currently stopped. Its got a decent warranty (5 year warranty and $28 for any warranty service), I’ll send mine in sometime soonish. This one goes for about $1200, but I got it for $190 off amazon. It was sitting on a shelf for a while (its a 2009 model and I got it in 2014), so I got it for a deal. If I didnt have the warranty it would be $170 for the new movement.
